Crafters companion card creator die......

I just could not resist......

this is the card laid flat....cut fom a 7x7 card and trimmed because try as I might I could not get to work on an A4 sheet of card and then fold over tomake a complete card...the back was smaller than the front...I may need practice...

this is the card stood up and opened a bit so you can see the lovely cuts...I just inked through the die with chipped saphire distress ink...made a flowerusing the heartfelt delicate aster die.....and leaves...

the inside was tricky...I trace the heart appature onto a stickynote cut it out and masked through the appature to get it in the correct place....inked all over with chipped saphire distress ink....stamped over the edges with heartfelt creations feathered friends stamp...again in chipped saphire and then with a waterbrush took off some of the ink to give a but of dimension to the buds...then I stamped the hero arts greeting in the centre of the heart after peeling of the mask....then embossed the whole of the inside flap with a basket weave embossing folder....I think its a Sue Wilson one....
I am pleased with the finished result but it wasnt as easy as made out on the TV to use!...but as I say Imost probablyneed to play more well I bought all 6 of them so watch this space....

I had seen these dies, but didn't buy. This card looks beautiful, but as you say, the presenters can practice for a while to make it look easy. Judging by this one, though, I think you have got it.
