Its time for our Christmas card club challenge...where does the time go ....this challenge was for a village scene so I have used my crafters companion die ......
I cut the die out 6 times ...3 white and 3 black and then off set the images slightly and cut down the layers and decoupaged them up onto black glitter card that I made myself ...so messy its such fun!.....note to self ...buy more black glitter....
The sentiment is from Hobby art and the banner cut with the Sue Wilson pierced flags dies....
Please go and have a look at all the fabulous cards made by the rest of the lovely girls....all the links to their blogs are on my side bar.....

ReplyDeleteThis is just magnificient, Margaret! When it was scrolling into view I said "Die'sire die!" because you always use them so marvelously. Enjoyed reading the way you made this one, wow, 6 cuts. It really showed off so beautifully the way you've offset the layers, and the white & black combo is so extremely dramatic! You certainly aced this Village challenge! TFS & Happy wk ahead.

As always Margaret - really beautiful and very elegant. What a fab idea too - multi stacking the die cuts: something to try and remember although I haven't got any Die'sire dies yet, they are on my wish list. A really beautiful card Karen x
ReplyDeleteSo sorry I'm late in commenting. My Internet problems are consuming my life at the moment. To cap it all my iPad crashed this morning and took my IT specialist a talk through on the phone to get it working again. It's enough to drive you to drink. In fact sitting in the garden right now with a Pinot Grigio Blush. Very nice it is too. Anyway I digress. Gosh I didn't know you could get black glitter! Your scene looks lovely. Can see you had fun putting together. Hugs Mrs A.
