my last card for uncle Mark....

sadly this is the last card I made for my dear old uncle Mark ...he dies very peacefully on Monday and I shall miss him...the last of my aunts and uncles and the links to my parents....

I used heartfelt creations stamps and papers and the sentiment is from Phil Martin .....
I shall be going to the funeral today to say goodbye to a real gentleman...

  1. A lovely card which I'm sure he appreciated. I am sorry for your loss. It is always a wrench when we lose that last link to our beloved parents.I felt the same way when my mum's younger sister died only three months after mum. They were the last of thirteen children. Thinking of you today as you say your final goodbye. Hugs Christine x

  7. He does look like a real gentleman and probably led a very interesting life. he was, I'm assuming in WW2 and, if not, could relate many experiences. he looks like he was a gentle soul but could set you in your place in the kindest way and you knew to listen. I love this last card you made for him, very cheery and with the pretty birds. he must have loved all the cards you made. It is sad when all are gone, it does feel like a great loss because that generation one grew up with is not physically here. At least we can recount their memories and the memories we have of them
