November Rudolph day challenge

its the last challenge of the year at scrappymo's Rudolph day challenge so here is my card......

this is my first attempt at creating a background using brusho's....I have shied away from stuff like this but I had a lovely day playing creating backgrounds and learning how little of the product is needed.....I think I was a bit heavy handed on this one but I decided to use it as I loved the colours...
Have a look over at scrappymo's there are prizes to be won.

  1. LOVE Brushos . . . and LOVE the card you've created from a background made with them.

    Happy Rudolph Day!

  2. This background is perfect for a forest scene, Margaret! Love the embossed tree and deer you've placed with it. It goes together like you planned this background! And it's hard to plan how Brushos will turn out.

  4. Wow Margaret - I know you said you thought you were too heavy handed with the brushos but it definitely looks as though it was meant to be! Gorgeous card and the white really stands out from that lovely background.

    Hugs.

  10. Yes the colours are beautiful and vibrant. I haven't got any brusho's but they are very popular it seems and I have seen some gorgeous creations using them. Enjoy playing!

  11. Oh Margaret, Your brusho background is just WONDERFUL! You may think you got too much product on it, but what a vivid background it did create, and the frontage 'snow' really stands out against the darkness of the swirls. Experimenting will let you know what amounts & looks you like, but this was most beautiful with the festive winter scene you've created. It is just SPLENDID! Well done, You! TFS & Hugs

  12. Hi thanks for the comment on my blog today, the flower dies are part of the Marianne frame die that I used ( CR 1248) and there is a leaf with it too.

I love your brusho background. The colours are gorgeous. I have a box of them and only had them out the once. I found a little goes a long long way too. Hugs Mrs A.
