happy Birthday Barbara

its my sister in laws birthday this week and sadly she has dementia and is now living in a home...a terrible disease...on the bright side the home is very good and will give her a cake and a party....

I have made this using the Tonic square flourish die set....and kept things monochrome as she reacts badly to some colours.....the sentiment is a Sue Wilson die...
I enjoyed making this card ...I hope you are having a great day and thank you for popping by today.

  1. Margaret,a beautiful card indeed. Your sister-in-law will love it. Yes dementia is a terrible disease. There has been dementia in our family and it very debilitating, God Bless.

  2. A beautiful card Margaret, such an elegant black and white design - your background with all of the little pearls is perfect.

  4. a lovely card, and it gave you pleasure to make this for your SIL, even though she may not be quite able to appreciate the love behind it. Dementia & Alzheimers are such awful diseases...and at one stage, so much worse for those who love the person. God Bless your SIL, and I'm so happy for you that she is in a place where she will get good care. That's sometimes hard to insure the patient has this, which is a little lift of a heavy burden. And it's just a beautiful card. Love that background too. TFS
