Polka Doodles Challenge....Purple

Its time for the new challenge and the team A Design Team have been working hard to produce inspiration to encourage you to have a go in our latest challenge.....here is a link to the challenge blog do hop over and have a look....there are some fabulous prizes to be won so go on have a go....

I have used an image and sentiment are from the fabulous Fredericka CD.....have matted and layered her up using papers from the cd which I have taken into my Digi program and changed the colours to tone in...isnt that just great an unlimited supply of any coloured backing papers all that match.....
The die cuts are Spellbinder and Marianne Dies...and I have used a bit of distressing ink....

I know just like me you keep all those scraps of paper...well tis week I decided that I had to start using some of them up.....I bought the punch and stamp sets when they were released at CHA but put them on a shelf...as you do....so here is what I have been playing at

Christmas card club challenge Hazels choice feature a creature.....

What a treat Hazel...at last I get to make a card from my new OH LA LA CD Yuletide Wishes  that I was given as a pressie.....

the image...with lovely cute mice....is one of those off centre decoupage dead easy squares....the papers are both from the CD....the fir tree boarder is a memory box die and the holly a Marianne die...
shame the glossy accents on all the berries on the BP dont show but I am not the worlds best photographer!

Polka Doodles Cha;;enge Blog...Spring Colours

I printed off some of the most beautiful papers when I first got the cherry blossom lane CD...and I have used them along with an image from candy doodles CD....the die cuts are Marianne design dies and spellbinders.....a few pearls from my stash....

harvest mouse.....

I have been doing a bit of grungy stuff....masking and embossing and then colouring with distress inks...not my usual comfort zone but I have had these masks for ages and they were crying out to be played with....

the stamp is a stamps away one again I have had ages...coloured with distress inks and sprayed with water to give it a bit more of a water coloured look...then sprayed with spray and shine when it was dry....to intensify the colours....
hope you are all enjoying your crafting its much too cold here again to be doing much in the garden!

Love Shoes

I really liked this shoe stamp when I saw a demo on create and craft...so you know how these things just have to be had!

so I stamped it 3 times on different paper..cut it out decoupaged it up and blinged it to within and inch  of its life...I just dont know when to stop do I....
