A bit of christmas

I found a couple of sheets of charisma I had printed off so ended up making this shaped card on my scan and cut....

I did have fun creating the card shape and the matts and layers....

Sadly I am still feeling poorly and eventually went to see the dr who has given me antibiotics and a steroid nasal spray and sent me to hospital for blood tests so I am waiting for results and feeling horrible...still crafting gets me through....take care out there....

I bought myself the tattered lace scan and cut special card shapes usb...so I am going to be trying out lots of different shaped cards over the next few weeks....

a nice simple one to start with...diamond top...the butterflies are martha stewart punches.....the nice thing about this card is that it opens flat and I can write inside...so another card for Aunty made....

Rudolph Day Challenge....March

yes its time for the Rudolph day challenge over at scrappymo's.....so I made this card for the challenge.....

sadly all the glitter doesn't show on my photo but this is a real blingtastic card...made using a cutting file from Birds cards which I bought a couple of years ago....the patterned papers are from pink pettycoat which are trading again....I am so pleased as they are fantastic value downloadable files....

I am at the Harrogate showground today at the craft fair with my little list.....and meeting up with my crafty pals for coffee and cakes......not buying anything...did any crafter ever stick to that!

one of my favorite things to make are belly boxes to fill with treats for my great nieces and these are cutting files I bought in the dollar sale at myscrapchick.....

they are so easy to make and so much fun....

A week of easter posts.....

I have been having great fun getting ready for easter so I thought I would post one of my makes every day this week......

 and then I Filled it with chocolate eggs

I had great fun with this box although I Have to admit it was time consuming....but worth it, cut using my scan and cut and the Easter cutting craftorium USB....

a couple of bunny belly boxes...an SGV file from my scrap chick...in the $1 sale last year I have bought a few more file in this latest $1 sale so there will be more to follow.... I love filling these with mini easter eggs for the great nieces....

I received my new tonic buildables this week so I just had to have a go.....the bunny is Betty Bunny....I only had enough yellow card to make 3 of the card...a free SGV file from Birdscard which comes with other embellishments....cut on my scan and cut....

a couple of gift boxes

I needed a couple of  either boxes or gift wallets for  money for presents so I made a couple of star boxes on my scan and cut.....shabbied them up with distress ink and gilding wax....job done!.....
still working on the crackers!

going to be filling these with chocolate pennies for on the dinner table.....

I popped onto birdscard.com  and found these lovely cutting files so I have been playing with my scan and cut.....

just loved making this.....lots of glitter .....its a big card and just fits nicely into an 8x8 envelop but the bundle does contain an envelop to cut...along with all sorts of lovely shapes...

I thought I needed to make a card using a download from Birdscards that I have had for a while but hadn't got round to this lady has lots of free SGV files that are simply stunning.....

I got 4 cards from a 12x12 sheet of each colour green....the sentiment is one of the preloaded ones and I have used the tonic studio Nuvo  red berry crystal drops for the berries....fun to make ....

This is just a different colour combination....

Christmas card club challenge 11 Zoe's choice ...Gifts

I have been playing with my scan and cut ....and these are two of the belly boxes I have made as gifts for my great nieces for Christmas......I always do a bag or box and fill it with chocolate pennies to put on the christmas table.....

I bought the SGV files for a $1 from myscrapchick while the sale was on...they really are so much fun to make.....
I hope you will go round all the other girls blogs ....they make such fantastic creations with the aimof being well prepared for Christmas....all the links to their blogs are on my side bar....

Star boxes....

I was watching the crafters companion show on create and craft this week and they had templates for a star box...thats nice I thought but I know me I hate and detest templates....so a quick search on the internet and found me some SGV files on myscrapchick.....

I thought they were going to be fiddly to put together but easy peasy.......I made the matts and layers using the original cuts just adjusting the size in scan and cut canvas.....the sentiment is a tonic die and so is the butterfly.....

the second box is 5 inches tall and takes a bottle of perfume....I made flowers using Heartfelt creations posy patch flowers again cut out on my scan and cut....the label is doohickey... and the sentiment tonic.....the SGV files were $1 ...in the sale!

I bought these SVG files from myscrapchick they are just so much fun to make!

they are belly boxes...fill up their tummy with sweets....a girl really should not have so much fun in her craft room my  hubby kept telling me to stop giggling!

I have just been on the wonderful Bird card site and used one of her fabulous free SGV file to make these little easter cards!

I don't know where I bought the digi stamp from but it was several years ago.....sorry......

Having a play day

yes just playing in my craft room and getting to grips with re-sixing on my scan and cut....I have found this wonderful blog called birdscard......where this wonderful lady puts up SGV files to use for free personal use......subject to her terms and conditions.....what a fabulous lady!

so today I resized a teapot card.....

she even gives you the inner layers......I added a martha steward butterfly.....and a bit of distress ink.....think next time I will be more creative with my background but as a first attempt I am pleased.....

I saw Mel Heaton do a demo on create and craft so I thought I would have a go......

so I cut one of the quilting blocks that come pre installed on the machine....using plain and patterned papers....glued them in place....edged with a micron pen with faux stitching.....little flowers are Marianne designs die.....sentiment is a  tonic die.....
