this is a very old tonic set that has been languishing on my shelf for years and so dusting it off  and making a card and gift box...

another bauble

 I am slowly making my Christmas  baubles up...they do take a while to make so I do them every so often

I am going to put a Terrys Chocolate orange in each of them for the family...

 using some old dies....

these tonic dies have been in my stash for more years than I can remember....so I am revisiting lots of them rather than buy any new ones....wonder how long I can keep it up....

doing something a bit different....

 I managed at last to get hold of the Christmas bauble die set...yes its from China but Tonic are out of stock and will not say when or if it is coming back 

yes it was definitely fiddly to do but the first one is always a learning curve...its a really big bauble and will be great for Christmas filled with sweets...

christmas treat characters

 I always do a set of  treat holders each christmas for on the table...this year I have used tonic characters

each of the characters has a chocolate orange in the base and chocolate coins in the heads...great fun as place markers....

christmas card challenge 8 ...dogs or Cats

this one has taken me back to some very old stash....

made with tonic festive friends stamps and dies.....these must be at least 10 years old and un opened..... one of each for the challenge....

Christmas card club challenge… die cuts

 Well I certainly did a lot of die cutting Sylvie.....

Made with Tonics new Christmas tree die…all the baubles are from carnation crafts as I thought the ones from tonic were too large…I added bows to the bigger baubles and then blue glitter Nuevo drops…sadly the colour doesn't show very well.

a box card....

 its ages since I made a box card but I was watching crafters companion on the tv and remembered I had bought some tonic dies years ago...so up to my craft room and hey ho.....

I filled the centre with flowers from carnations crafts and added an easter sentiment from Sue Wilson

I see from the comments on previous posts that my blog has been difficult to post on and I hope I have fixed that now by taking comment moderation off....

another masculine card....

you can tell I have been rooting through my old dies......don't know how old this one is.....

I thought it just perfect for my friend who grows pineapples..he works at a world heritage centre......can you see them...
I hope you are staying safe out in blog land...we are just staying home appart from the dreaded weekly shop...I am so glad that face masks are becoming mandatory in shops it certainly gives me confidence to go out ....take care and thanks for dropping by today.

some christmas crackers....

I need to make a few this year but find them very fiddly to do so I just do 2 at a time.....

these are made using the 2017 Tonic cracker die...using heartfelt creations papers and heartfelt creations large poinsettia stamp and die...I like to make my own crackers and have to admit to buying this years tonic cracker die which is on pre order  and doesn't arrive till september so I thought I would get on with these..... they are filled with chocolates nearer the time.....

on the naughty step....

well it was inevitable really when the Tim Holtz chapter 3 stamps and dies came out.....

I just fell for this jolly st Nick die...and although there are lots of pieces and I thought I would loose the will to craft it was surprisingly simple after doing it once.....
I used texture paste through a tonic stencil for the background....the parcels are from the Santas helper set of dies...you can see why I am on the naughty step...and it doesn't stop there....more to come.....

this weeks christmas card

using a die I bought that came along with the tonic magazine...when they were on Hochanda and still affordable.....

I had a lovely time with silver mirri and glitter...the down side is that it is all over the house and no matter how many times I hoover it glistens in the sunlight....

doing a craft room sort out....

I have decided to go through all my dies and get rid of those that I think I will never use again....on their way to the charity shop...these were some of the first Tonic dies I bought ...Butterfly Dreams....
I thought I would make up a couple of cards for the charity shop to show what they looked like ..

I don't know about you but I find it very difficult to actually get rid of stuff so I am doing it a bit at a time and then I feel a bit better.....such a hoarder.....

a quick birthday card .....

just when I thought I was all ahead for this next month another card is needed ....

Kraft and white is one of my favorite combinations....the easel card is made using Tonic Petunia trellis...a tonic sentiment ...and some Tim Holtz flowers and foliage from funky florals 3....which are great fun....
