Happy Birthday Lori

 it seems like only yesterday that a new family moved in over the road with 2 small children..that's now 10 years ago...how the time flies by and how they do grow up...so a teenage card 

the image is from LOTV and the card shape is a lovely set of tattered lave dies Rectangle labels...some gorgeous glitter striped card from my stash and the sentiment die is a very old tattered lace one.

Christmas card club challenge 5 Christmas carols

 this weeks challenge is chosen by our lovely Rita.....

well this card was certainly a labour of love...I paper pieced the red into the poinsettia and wished I had never started it when of course I was missing several little bits at the end...still it was worth it....the lovely LOTV image of carol singers..I wonder what carol is their favorite....

a snow day crafting...

 its snowing here today so I don't feel at all at odds with making Christmas cards.....

I decided to make an easel card to show off my LOTV image....I just love using Kraft with white and a little pop of red....

I had my covid jab yesterday with not a one side effect ...brilliant at the surgery in and out so well organised....thank heaven for the NHS....

a bauble shaped card......

 its a slow start to the new year.....

a facebook friend Susan sent me a couple of die cuts and so with the help of my scan and cut I have created a shaped card base and matts and layers for the bauble shape she sent me...the image is from LOTV 

I hope you are keeping safe and well...we are only going out once a week for essential shopping...and waiting patiently for our vaccination to make us feel safer.

 I just love this LOTV image.....

made using a couple of layers of the tattered lace die essential holly circle...a very old die that I use a lot ..the sentiment is tonic and the image LOTV....some Nuvo drop and a lot of fun making it....

oh yes its all christmas glitter in my craft room......

the background dies are from the tattered lace still white collection from a few years ago and the carol singing bunny isa lovely LOTV image....coloured with copics and lots of glitter......

I am going to have to slow down with the card making ....maybe try making some boxes and christmas crackers.....take care and stay well.

Christmas cards...

its going to be a week of christmas cards......not that anyone will see them as bloglovin has gone down...tried the app and on my pc and its just gone this page is unavailable....lots of reports but nothing happening....

I just love this LOTV image .....the frame is Paper Boutique from last years christmas collection...I have only bought one from this years collection and I will not be buying any more of their dies the quality has plummeted...the die bent trying to get it of the retaining sheet....and yet the price has gone up....

Hello out there...

its a beautiful sunny morning here in Yorkshire and I am feeling very happy with myself...I have just successfully installed my new eco tank printer...not without its problems,having to move stuff out of my craft room and hubby building a new shelf for it...and then doing all that installing stuff...but it works and on the wifi too.....my first test print was this lovely LOTV image which I have made into a card using up loads of bits from on my desk top....

backing paper LOTV...digi print...topper LOTV digi print....the circular frilly die is from a tattered lace USB...the poinsettia are heartfelt creations dies and stamps...the sentiment are LOTV and loads of glitter....
I am so worn out with all this success I think I may have to have a lie down....

a sunday christmas card

well I am back from my trip to Scotland and my Aunts funeral..which went off as well as these things can...we were blessed with a wonderful sunny day which helped ....our journey back was not so good taking 11 hours....oh my goodness so many road works....still home now and rested a couple of days..
I need to craft....

using my favorite LOTV image....the die is Amy designs wintertide...and the sentiment tattered lace...the paper is from the new digi download from LOTV which I took into my craft studio and played about with to get a colour match to the topper....
