 I bought this die so long ago...Paper Cuts festive collection from creative expressions....

I used Sue Wilsons square dies to make the frame and paper pieced all the house...lots of glitter and a sentiment from a set so old I have no idea who made it....

Nearly there.....

 well its just one week away from Christmas and i hope you are all ready....we seem to have only the desert to buy and we are all there so i can relax and play in my craft room again...

this is a creative expressions stamp Festive Trail....lots of glittery snow but nice and flat for posting...

its a glorious sunny day here so i might spend some time clearing up leaves after last weeks wind....

Christmas card club challenge 7...festive embossing folders

 this weeks challenge is set by Zoe...

I have used Sue Wilson's Natalie's Poinsettia 3D embossing folder and the corresponding Natalie festive frames die...with the same brand of die for the sentiment

Jane Gill's Festive Fuzzies-Reindeer coloured with Promarkers....

the die cut background is Sue WilsonNoble collection' postage stamp frame. 

I made the background with distress inks and white embossed stars and a posca pen for the splats and finished off with fluffy stuff on his hat....

loving these 3D embossing folders

I really don't make enough use of my embossing folders and this past few months have been on a bit of a mission to use them......

they are both from creative expressions ....the first one I have used glitter kiss fire red on and the second one has creative expressions fern metallic gilding polish on...the die cuts are all Sue Wilsons dies.....I had fun playing with these...a bit different for me.....
I am feeling much better now and have only the rest of this week on doing very little and by then the ribs should be healing.....its been really frustrating but at least I have finished off all my half made projects.

christmas card club challenge 24....mixed media

the penultimate challenge of the year....and Mary has chosen mixed media & trees....so a quick search through my stencils...

yes its got trees.....tick....and I have used cosmic shimmer gold pearl texture paste...tick .it looks quite pale on the photo but in real life its a lovely soft gold.....
I have used creative expressions shiny black card to stencil on...matted and layered onto a textured gold card stock....LOTV sentiment...
Well thats nearly it for this year only one more challenge to go...have you got all your cards done for the season?....its great being part of this challenge as it helps me to make christmas cards right through the year...

doing a bit of stamping and embossing....

this is based on a design I saw on pinterest...I didn't have the same stamps so I used what I had.....a creative expressions tree.....and a justrite sentiment

a bit of red ribbon some clear gems and a dazzler.....shame all the glitter doesn't show up ....its really sparkly......

getting on with some Christmas cards...

Having a great time playing in my room with all my new goodies

this is an old creative expressions stamp I found in my draw...used the snow flakes to make an embossed background...embossed the tree and glittered it up...used a justrite Christmas miracle ornament..stamped and embossed and glittered for the tag...white crushed organza ribbon.....and was pleased with the result
