christmas card club challenge 24....mixed media

the penultimate challenge of the year....and Mary has chosen mixed media & trees....so a quick search through my stencils...

yes its got trees.....tick....and I have used cosmic shimmer gold pearl texture paste...tick .it looks quite pale on the photo but in real life its a lovely soft gold.....
I have used creative expressions shiny black card to stencil on...matted and layered onto a textured gold card stock....LOTV sentiment...
Well thats nearly it for this year only one more challenge to go...have you got all your cards done for the season?....its great being part of this challenge as it helps me to make christmas cards right through the year...

Jazz it up

I decided to play with the goodies bought at Ally Pally....and after watching a show featuring visible image stamps on C&C I got inspired!

see I Can do messy!...the stamps are all visible image and the colours are the imagination craft sprays I bought ,applied with the tim holtz round blender tool....that was fun.....

christmas card club challenge 7 use a stencil.....

I have used a stencil I bought some time back...but always forget about them so thank you Carol for challenging me to use one....

I have used the Imaginations crafts sparkle medium through the stencil...the poinsettia have been 3d with the small spellbinder dies cut out of card and covered in the same sparkle medium...the embossing folder is a crafters companion one again from some years ago....

christmas card club challenge 3..Rachel's choice...texture

so I decided to use texture paste and a stencil.....

I used imaginations craft sparkle medium texture paste...black stars ... and their stencil...winter forest...with just a little bit of black glitter for extra sparkle....the sentiment is from LOTV....matts embossed with Sue Wilsons frosty swirls embossing folder.....and the die cut santa and sleigh is also a Sue Wilson die....

there is never any logic to my crafting ...I just look at stuff in my room in the morning and have a play.....are you like that or do you plan the cards you are going to make.....
