Happy Birthday

 for my cat loving friend...we used to be neighbours back in the day and our cats would eat at each others houses and I would often find her cats curled up Infront of my log burner at night.. the cat flap was just too easy for them to pop in....

this on is made with Elizabeth craft dies and yes they were a real faff to make!

week 45......White and Gold

 I thought I would try a die I bought in the sale from Anna Griffin

sorry about the photo but white and mirri are just awful to get a good photo

this is one of those 3D cards and it took me ages to get right and the embossing deep enough to show but not split the card...oh the joys of crafting.

It folds down flat to fit in an A5 envelope but I think its a giver not a poster....

Festive Christmas house…

 I am just loving these shaped cards from the Polkadoodles Christmas at the Cottage collection

They are so easy to..print out and the cut on my scan and cut…a bit of a learning curve as they are PNG files and I have had to go back to a very old program Craft Artist to be able to change the size…as I wanted to make matching gift tags …finally worked it out ..turn off internet and reinstall the program and run off line and it works okay….

I then had to print a matching A 4 background to use on the inside…I decided to glue together before cutting the shaped card out and it made the card stand up better as well as making the inside nice and neat so now I have cracked it many more will follow…

Week 44 …Christmas lights

 

Made using a carnation crafts die from last year that I found during a rummage in my craft room after one of my shelves fell off the wall…too much weight my dearest said and spent the day putting up the shelf with extra brackets for support,bless him his knees are suffering tonight!
