what a gorgeous few days we have just has a bit fresher and cooler today with lovely blue skies and sunshine we are off over to my nieces for lunch today so no cooking for me.....hope you have a lovely day.

I made this gate card using the heartfelt creation festive gate stamp and die and a background from one of my very old cd's..

the decoupage flowers sentiment and bird are all from Katy Sue..

Its the last day of Wimbledon and the men's final....so just getting all the jobs done so i can sit and watch

My Christmas lantern….

 I treated myself to John next doors die and just couldn’t wait to make it up….

I have added carnation craft embellishments and now I just have to find some battery lights 

Not much crafting going on as I am sat on the sofa watching Wimbledon…..

week 28 Retro Christmas

 well I have at last plucked up the courage to cut into my Graphic 45...Christmas Magic collection its years old ....

lots of fussy cutting of bows and holly and little tiny tiny children ....

its a Mini Celebration

 I bought this set of Sue Wilson stamps and dies so that I could make some cards for both male and female car lovers....and a bit of nostalgia for my first Red Mini

the embossing folder is a really old one but I thought it looked a bit like tyre tread...

 I was doing a bit of sorting as you do when you loose something and come across stuff you had forgotten well here we are Susan<s garden dies by Spellbinders....

made with Susan's poinsettia die...Holly and branch dies...I have attached coloured foam balls to the branch to make the berries and Nuvo drops for the centre of the poinsettia...all the die cuts are coloured with copic's....the background is Spellbinders Scenic Poinsettia 3D embossing folder...the sentiment is a Sue Wilson die.

this is Spellbinders 3D Floral Archway with some silver gilding wax and a we bit of white sponged into the flower centres ..oh did I enjoy making this...

 every year I keep a few of the Christmas cards I receive to do a bit of recycling...

I mounted it on some die cut gold mirri...using the spellbinders vintage square set added a sentiment with embossing powder and a star and some gems to add a bit of dimension.

 my great niece is planning a move to Sheffield so I thought as she loves all things mushrooms and toadstools  this would be appropriate....

made with Lawn Fawn dies...had this set for years and years this is its first outing....the embossing folder is an old crafters companion one and the sentiment from an old stamp Addicts set....

 I bought this Tim Holtz set of dies in the sales and have just got round to using them...

I cut them out of felt and found I had to use fabric stabiliser to get a nice clean cut but they were so much fun to make up and I have made them so they can be used as tree ornaments...

week 16...a rainbow tree

 well to start off I had to google the colours of the rainbow...so I decided to use the colours for my baubles.....

I hope you have been having better weather than us only 1 day in the week when it hasn't rained at some time I did manage a couple of hours in the garden Thursday doing a bit of weeding and tidying up

a card for a gardener friend

 I bought a pack of the Katy Sue Pretty Petals and picket fence and thought that I would add my own embellishments

so instead of flowers I added some carnation craft pots ,wellies ,hat and  a spade...as my friend is a keen gardener....

its fun changing things up....makes me use my imagination a bit.

Art Deco Christmas

 I have been watching C&C and the new Sue Wilson dies and it inspired me to get out some of my old art deco dies to make a card.....

again I have had these dies for years and if I am honest the character ones have never been used...so now is the time....all Tattered Lace

Week 14…snowy shaker

 I bought a collection from Fays studio back in 2019 and only used it to make 2 cards…how naughty so out it has come and I am working my way through all the images…

I think I was a bit heavy handed with the snowy glitter in the shaker element…I never get it right
