this set of dies is called dancing penguins...as the legs move ...

 I have been having fun with this stencil and die set from last year...

from the Greetery...Floral arches...and I made a base card using Daisy Mae stitched nesting die set...

 for a friend who sews....

this is a very old tonic set that has been languishing on my shelf for years and so dusting it off  and making a card and gift box...

week 18....not on theme.....

 I didn't stick to the theme this week and just made a card using up old Dawn Bibby stuff....

I loved the soft colours in this kit from 2011...yes I still have stuff that old to use up!

 I bought this set of crystal art gnomes to make for my great niece for Christmas...a nice change of pace...listen to some music and just do the gems...

very relaxing....

week 16...a rainbow tree

 well to start off I had to google the colours of the rainbow...so I decided to use the colours for my baubles.....

tree is a Tim Holtz colourise die....

I hope you have been having better weather than us only 1 day in the week when it hasn't rained at some time I did manage a couple of hours in the garden Thursday doing a bit of weeding and tidying up

another bauble

 I am slowly making my Christmas  baubles up...they do take a while to make so I do them every so often

I am going to put a Terrys Chocolate orange in each of them for the family...

I am being good and using very old dies again to make cards its such a shame to let them just sit on the shelf....

a card for a gardener friend

 I bought a pack of the Katy Sue Pretty Petals and picket fence and thought that I would add my own embellishments

so instead of flowers I added some carnation craft pots ,wellies ,hat and  a spade...as my friend is a keen gardener....

its fun changing things up....makes me use my imagination a bit.

 my take is to use poinsettia in the background...

and a lovely shinny bow....

the BP is from Tim Holtz and so is the bow, the sentiment is tonic

Art Deco Christmas

 I have been watching C&C and the new Sue Wilson dies and it inspired me to get out some of my old art deco dies to make a card.....

again I have had these dies for years and if I am honest the character ones have never been used...so now is the time....all Tattered Lace

these tonic dies have been in my stash for more years than I can remember....so I am revisiting lots of them rather than buy any new ones....wonder how long I can keep it up....
