Dies lost and found....

I knew that I had bought these dies several years ago but do you think I could find them...i found the stag version but I knew there were 3 other die sets somewhere....the joy of lockdown I found them while sorting out....what satisfaction.....

the backing papers are from the over the mantle usb....as is the poinsettia...and other embellishments...the die set is Symphony snow globe from tattered lace....now just to use the others...

a simple christmas card....

I bought myself the winter wonderland USB  and now that I have mastered the technique on the scan and cut I am having way too much fun....

I printed out two of the wreaths and decoupaged them up 

and added glossy accents to the berries...the sentiment is a tonic one from last year....

I hope you are staying safe and well out there...we are still only venturing out for necessary shopping with a mid week treat to click and collect a new book....take care.

having fun with this USB.....

it took a bit to master the scan and cut and the charisma  but I got there in the end....it always looks so easy when its on the TV....
Its been pouring with rain yesterday and overnight so at last its cooled down a bit and I can get back in my craft room...down off the naughty step and playing with my new purchases....

• sorting through my dies I came across this lovely Heartfelt creations die and I decided to make a card with it ....the flowers are really old tattered lace dies....from the floral fragrance collection and this one is princess....with lots of sparkle.....

I have been busy this last week trying to use some of my stash....

so I got out my Heartfelt creations christmas paper pads...oh dear do I really have so many .....
I used one of the 6x6 backing papers and dis a bit of mixing and matching with the collections....
a great feeling of satisfaction using stash....

I loved this frame when I saw it and just had to buy it .....

Illusions of Lace ...the flowers are from the Violet Haze collection and the sentiment is an old Heartfelt creations one.....

I have discovered this die unopened from last years so determined to play.....

Tim Holtz Santa's Helper..cut out 3 times..black...white and Kraft..the tree and ornaments are Marianne designs and the sentiment a Dylusions one again from last year...fun to make....

Happy Birthday Shoes

oh yes I treated myself to the carnations craft USB..I always like the shoes and flowers but at the time couldn't really justify buying them...now there are  3 collections on the USB and all the charisma's...bargain....

the Charisma's cut out perfectly on my scan and cut and I am thrilled with the results...the white mat and backing paper is also from the USB and I even made a little gift tag handbag to match.....

its big enough to be a small card but I thought it made a great gift tag.....I think I am going to have lots of fun with this .....

this weeks Christmas Card....

oh yes its christmas on create and craft and I will be on every naughty step on our staircase......

some of my very old craftwork cards papers...no idea what collection as by now I have half used all of them and they are just in a great big box.....the frame is from Paper Boutique...a few Nuvo drops and a bit of ribbon...great fun to make,,,,

We have a very wet and windy day here today so getting on with my christmas crafting..and as I have just had my Lindt chocolate delivery  I can indulge myself with a bit of chocolate...

a DL card....with sympathy

I love the elegant shape of a DL card and I really dont make them often enough.....

made using the Daisy Hill picture decoupage and frames....loving the backing papers on the USB

A birthday card....

jus playing in my room and came across this die in with my bee stamps....

I had a go at an inky background and used the honey comb stamp from a hobby art set of stamps...cut the crafters companion die out of black card and then did a bit of filling in with distress inks...
the sentiment came with the die set...

Christmas card.....

This weeks seems to be Christmas on Create and Craft and I am going to try hard not to buy ...lockdown has made me revist my stash and I think I should be good...wonder if my resolve will last?

this is a really old die from crafters companion that I found in my stash...never opened how naughty is that ....

I thought it would make a nice winter birthday card as well so I will show you that if I get it made....

I have been doing some deep diving into my craft stash...its amazing what I am finding in my paper pads....

this is cut from the craftwork cards cottage gardens paper pad...its so soft and pretty.....
We have had lots of rain over the weekend and all my water butts arenow full again....the grass is greening up and all is well in the garden....

an Anniversary card

its our friends in Hays wedding anniversary ...such a lovely couple but such bad planning there son arrived on the same date and they find that they don't get cards just a mention in their sons Birthday cards....so I made them a card....

A birthday card

just found a Wallace and Grommit kit I bought last year...thats what lock down does to you...make me tidy up my craft room and frighten myself to death by finding all this stuff.....

I thought that this image would make a cool masculine card for my cousin Chris....

at the end of June....I did have fun with the dies...and my favorite embossing folder again...

Well the weather has changed but still no rain here and my garden is so crispy that walking on the lawn feels really strange.....

an anniversary card.....

I have been having a play with my Heartfelt creations pansy stamps and dies....again only embossing in gold ....

the background die is the heartfelt intricate swirl frame ...the pansies have had the addition of some prills ...and the sentiment is also a heartfelt one....

hubbys christmas card for this year...

I know I am early getting it done but I do love this LOTV image....

the card shape is made from a paper boutique die and the sentiment is a Sue Wilson one....
I am looking forward to seeing all the new christmas die that come out in June and July...I really shouldn't buy anything new as all the stuff I have discovered I have yet to use is giving me a guilty conscience .....

New blogger

Well I finally plucked up the courage to try the new blogger and I have to say that it is okay....just took a while to click on all the icons and buttons to see what they do...finally found the new post button and even managed to do a permanent link....
I have scheduled 2 posts so I just have to see if they go live but all in all not as scary as I thought it was going to be...I really hate change....
