A couple of baby cards.....

I had so many unfinished projects on my desk I have been determined to actually finish some of them and clear up.....am I succeeding?

 and then a pink one....

made using Sue Wilson pieced rectangles...spellbinders cascading hearts for the background....Sues New arrivals onesie dies and the two stamps Prince George and Princess Charlotte...paper pieced using pink pettycoat papers...tying to keep them simple without lots of layering as my post office has closed in the village and the post box will only take a maximum 7x7 size card..so smaller cards for me as the next post office is 15 miles away...great!

making a babycard

just for something different...LOTV have started to release some of their images in digital format which is fantastic as I miss the art pads so much....

Baby cards....

I think I may have mentioned that my husband is going to become an uncle shortly...well anytime really so I have been making lots of baby cards...all colours and styles...these ones are a bit more modern and based on a card I saw demo'd on the craft channel

they were fun to make using the Mariannedesigns collectables dies and stamps which I have had a while...we don't know the sex of the baby so covering both options

now it's time to do some for the girls.....

I made a circle easel card and then decided to cut the centre out and put a sheet of acetate in to show off the tonic rocking horse better.....the sentiments and the fancy white circle are all tonic dies.....

just getting into the swing of making a few ready for August ...doing boy ones first....

the backing papers are from a DWCV pad Nana's nursery bought a good 10 years ago...the lovely aqua card is from papermill direct....the dies are tonic and the heart edge is a Martha Stewart punch..Nuvo drops for the eyes ...

New Baby cards....

we have just learnt that Richards nephew and his partner are to have a baby in August so I will be making lots of boy and girl cards!

I have used LOTV images from a die cut topper sheet.....pink pettycoat digi backing papers...the dies are....ducks, tattered lace the stork is tonic...the banner is la la land .The sentiment LOTV....
one card is a 7x7 and the other a 6x6 wasn't sure which would look best......
hope you are well today and the sun is shinning..its dull here but its dry and we are off to Rise Hall with my sister in law (soon to be Granny).....
