Just loving making these decoupage picket fence cards from Katy Sue Designs adding lots of sparkle and fluffy stuff for snow

It’s a glorious sunny morning after the rain so the washing is out blowing in the wind and the rest of the day is going to be crafting

This is a rub on from spellbinders I have had for some time and I thought it would frame well in an arched card…It was just a case of finding the right set of dies …you know the feeling …I have them somewhere half a day later and bingo there they were…

and then I asked it to make it snowy

isn't that just amazing at least now I can follow where it puts snow and make my cards look like this...or maybe not still its fun playing...

Happy 33 anniversary to us

 

It was our anniversary this week so we celebrated by going off for the day and visiting ‘Benningborough Hall a stately home near us, it was a glorious sunny morning and we had a lovely walk round the gardens,coffee and cakes in the cafe and then a trip round the house itself …a lovely day

This is the card I made for Richard using Penny Black images…we have lots of hedgehogs that visit our garden so I thought would be cute

I have been having so much fun with this digital download from Highlight crafts,,, Merriment and Yuletide

 its full of fun scenes and gnome images to create in my craft studio...its been a long time since I used it so it took me a while to get back to creating and making sure that I copied and pasted the characters to cut out on my scan and cut and decoupage...on this one I forgot I could also add text so I ended up with a creative expressions wordies ...traditional christmas sheet

gnome Tree

 

the background was made using a very old stencil and white cosmic shimmer dimensional paste splatter with white acrylic paste

I cut the gnomes out several times in different colours and paper pieced them.. adding nuvo drops to give dimension to the strings of lights

took a while to make...

I used lots of things to create the background a stamp which I embossed and then used and embossing folder and some inks...

the Santa is spell binders St Nick which I have cut using Lawn Fawn wooden card stock in white and coloured using promarkers and the parcels are made from another set of dies...
