week 12.....christmas card

 this week I have gone with the anything goes theme.....

both cards are made using the crafters companion die and decoupage sets...

I hope you are having a good weekend I have the tennis in Indian Wells to watch so one happy bunny...

a christmas village

 I made this card as an alternative one for the christmas card club challenge a couple of weeks back using some old crafters companion dies...

I have absolutely smothered it in glitter and it is so sparkly....

using stash...

 I bought the Crafters Companion Nutcracker collection when it came out last year and I have just discovered it on my shelf naughty me it was unopened.... not anymore!

I used one of the backing papers and stamped and coloured the nutcracker and parcels....

 another shaped card

I love these word dies from crafters companion...I made an extra matt layer in gold on my scan and cut and the decoupage and dies are part of the set but really could be used on anything....

Snow...

 oh how I wish...its still very warm here but a change has been forecast.....

made using the new crafters companion dies and decoupage...I did have some of the original Tattered Lave monumental dies but these are much small...fit into a 5x7 envelope so I think Iwill use them a lot more...my excuse for buying them...

Inky background

after spraying with the previous card in blue I sprayed on more water and created a nice background...waste not want not as my dear old Mum would say..... 

I used the crafters companion die and stamp set...Snow....

 I hope you are safe and well, we still have high winds here so my plans for a trip into York are on hold not urgent just a trip to Bettys for a few indulgencies....ie cake...

Jingle Bells

 I am winding down now and not really making many more Christmas cards as I have made so many this year through out lockdown...but I do love this little die....

its really old from crafters companion but I think its just perfect for a 5x5 card with a penny black sentiment....

Hope you are all well and keeping safe, I have had my booster jab now and after a day feeling really terrible am now back to normal...and hope that you are enjoying your crafting.

A Christmas Fairy....

 I have been sorting through my old crafting cd's and came across the Christmas flower fairies from years ago....

all the backing papers and decoupage are from the cd and my trusty scan and cut did the cutting of the decoupage....the poinsettia is a tattered lace die....

 I bought this set of crafters companion stamps and dies last year and just forgot them...how naughty is that, while I have been rummaging through my stuff sorting out what to send to the charity shop I discovered them and my conscience got me...so here I am using them.

A simple birthday card.....

 sometimes I really need to dial down all the embellishments and stuff and make a simple card...

so I have used the crafters companion connecting dies...this one is birthday...

I used some very old Phil Martin papers...the lovely thing about them are that you get the plain and patterned that tone so well.....

 I know its only July but I felt likr doing something a bit different...

and these were fun to make from a crafters companion die set from last year....

Its still too hot for me and we haven't had the promised rain yet so fingers crossed it comes soon and cools down...

 I came a cross this lovely little die the other day when I was searching through my stash so I thought I would make a small card for a change....

the bells are from crafters companion, and the sentiment is Penny Black....

I am just in from watering all my plant as it looks like we are in for a scorcher today...

 I loved this crafters companion die when I bought it several years ago and it has been sadly neglected....

going with white and gold for a bit of a luxury look.....

the sentiment is a tonic one...again several years old....

using an old embossing folder....

 just wanted to have a play today so I looked at some of my embossing folders and made this....

its a lovely crafters companion embossing folder and a penny black sentiment....matted onto gold mirri job done....

playing with old CD's...

 I decided to get out a few of my old crafters companion craft cd's this week and see if I could now print out better images using the pro paper....success...

I was really pleased with the prints and they were so good that my scan and cut was able to cut out all the decoupage for me....this image is Holly Fairy from the Christmas flower friends cd...

I found these crafters companion  dies on e bay and as I missed them when they first came out I was delighted...especially at the price! I was the only person to bid on them so I got them sooo cheap...

the boxes are filled with chocolate coins for the children over the road....

thank you for your support over the last year and all the lovely comments on my creations ...

 I thought this would be right for one of my husbands nephews....

made using a stencil I have forgotten the brand...tonic parcel dies and a crafters companion edger die...and the sentiment is tattered lace...but I had fun being a bit inky...

trying to keep it subtle and not too blingy I have used gold brushed sating card...the crafters companion double sided rose die and the embellishment die that went with the set....

Happy Birthday...

 one of my friends adores snowdrops so I thought her card should be filled with them....

using some very old crafters companion dies and stamps....with a few Sue Wilson ones to fill in...

I got the results of all my tests yesterday and all is well....I just have to take the next couple of week easy and allow my body to recuperate...the best news ever....
