having fun....

I have been having much too much fun these past few days and I haven't done any crafting...I bought myself a night camera to watch my hedgehogs...we have 2 adults and 2 babies at the moment so we have a lot of activity around the feeding bowls.....most of the morning is spent watching the video's of them cavorting around the lawn....but I did make a card in between....

paper boutique die for the fram...craftwork cards paper and topper,a bow and some Nuvo drops....just keeping my hand in....

a christmas card.....

yes I have been making christmas cards in this glorious weather......

playing with very old craftwork cards papers and topper.....and a Paper Boutique frame...my beloved Kraft card and a big red bow.....that was fun to make......
Hope you are all safe and well out there,we had such a treat this week our little local garden centre has opened they have gone to so much trouble to introduce a one way system and 2 metre markings...hand sanitiser and contactless payment that it was such a joy to go out and get some plants ...oh and some hedgehog food...yes they are back my playful little pals....

a feminine card this time

a card for my friend Chrissy....made using craft work cards vintage ephemera...with all the bottles fussy cut out of the paper and decoupaged up....great fun to make.

Its a birthday card but sometimes its more about having a good day than counting the years.....
I hope you are all getting through these days of isolation...we have been working our way through a box set of Lewis and discovering episodes we have never seen.....

I have been working my way through some very old stash...this is craftwork card vintage ephemera...such a lovely paper pad and really deserves to be used and no longer just stroked....

I am determined to use some of my paper stash this year...no more stroking....

this is from a craftwork cards pad...vintage ephemera....I have decoupaged up the large scent bottle and used  lots of pretty pink glitter glue to make the bottle sparkle.....
stay safe and stay home....crafting will get us through these terrible times.....

this week itis Gwen's turn to choose the card theme....so birds it is.....

I have gone for a partridge in a pear tree....the topper and backing paper is from an old craftwork cards collection...and the pine cones and berries are from Tattered Lace...3D decoupage...all from my stash....

A Cracker card

I am really finding some forgotten stuff in my craft room...I know I bought these card shapes in 2015 along with the craftwork cards the magic of christmas pad...I think I have used one previously....naughty me

they are fun to make and a great sense of satisfaction using up stash.....

my first z card.....

I have seen lots of these shapes on social media...so I have had a go....and using up stash from last year....

a 6x6 card ....made using craftwork cards Christmas cheer papers...and topper ...glossy accents on the poinsettia and nuvo drops for the berries....
Not as hard to make as I imagined...

yes I have really started to get going on my christmas cards ...having been naughty and ordering the craftwork cards Christmas past collection.....

the poinsettia are decoupaged up and glossy accented ..sorry the photo seems on a wonk.....

Its been a bit cold here this week so I have been up in my cosy little craft room playing.....

a Sunday christmas card

having fun paling with craftwork cards frozen forest collection......I just love this image which I have cut out of the 8x8 sheet of paper.....

 and as you get 3 sheets of each design I thought I would make an easel card as well....

the last sheet of course I will be keeping to stroke!.....

Christmas card club challenge 22...Anything goes

it was Sylvie's choice this week.......so I have been having fun with Craftwork cards christmas cheer collection

I have used tattered lace pierced circle dies to make the easel card and papers and a topper from the christmas cheer collection...the holly is my favorite tattered lace die coloured with copics and the spruce is a marianne die...LRO438....all have been glossy accented to make the berries shine and the sentiment triple embossed with clear embossing powder to give it that tile look.....

A birthday card for a lovely friend......

my friend is into shabby chic....so I thought this craftwork cards collection was just perfect to make her card....

I have used the Vintage Ephemera collection of papers and toppers and sat them into one of the tonic box cards that I bought in 2013 and have just found whilst doing a cleanup....I will be using these again as they are really easy to make up......sadly the glossy accents that I have highlighted the glass perfume bottles with doesn't show on the photo....
The hard part is going to be posting it!....

I really do struggle to make cards for men...at least this one is for a friend who likes to garden....

the images,papers and sentiment are all from the Craftwork cards Pocket full of papers USB...thank you Karen.......I went onto the craftwork cards blog and Neil Burley had done a really helpful blog on how to resize the papers...fantastic saving on ink.....the images are cut out on my scan and cut... after resizing and printing ....brilliant!
