the flowers are the Heartfelt sunkissed fleur......

these are such fun to make and my stash of birthday cards is now growing!......

Christmas club challenge #9.Karen P's choice........black white and one other colour..

this week it was Karen P turn to set the challenge....nice one Karen I get to use my new stamp bought for me by Lizzie for my birthday.......

the stamp is our daily bread christmas tree collage.....stamped in versafine...baubles coloured red and glossy accents....red white and black matting and layering...Sue Wilsons embossing folder and cosmic shimmer sparkle PVA  dots...a red bow ...my last piece of this lovely ribbon.....some little red bells.....
Will be round to see all my lovely ladies cards later this evening......

yes I am still playing with my card creators......

I used black co-ordinations and sanded back the embossed features a bit...mounted the black on  to ivory centura pearl that I had stamped with my greeting and then micro beaded to give some texture .....
the flowers are heartfelt posy patch stamped onto the ivory centura pearl and cut out using my scan and cut....love this machine....black sparklets for the centre of the flowers and a few leaves....
Doing a bit of crafting inbetween nursing my lovely husband who has been in hospital for an operation.....I may be at this some while...a slow recovery!

and I thought what colours do I think are decadant.....mummmmm

so then I thought about the inside and glitter....

so I covered the inside with double sided adhesive and rubbed cosmic shimmer iced snow all over it...then fixed on the centre panel with the sentiment.....a bow and a jem....now where can I write  on...will have to fix a tag to the back of the card!...should have thought about that!.....

Christmas card club challenge #8 Asha's choice...Christmas lights

my choice candles.....

once again I made my own glitter card using double sided ahesive film and rubbing extra fine glitter on....the die cuts are Memory box...merry christmas and Glowing candle.....which I cut out twice once on red with double sided ahesive film and rubbed red glitter over and once in White and set this over the red layer.....the pine branch is Impression obsession  and the holly berries flourishis a penny black die....the mistletoe is a Magnolia Doohickey.....a bit of ribbon ....red and white gems and a sprinkle if cosmic shimmer iced snow....

playing with my scan and cut.....

I saw Mel Heaton do a demo on create and craft so I thought I would have a go......

so I cut one of the quilting blocks that come pre installed on the machine....using plain and patterned papers....glued them in place....edged with a micron pen with faux stitching.....little flowers are Marianne designs die.....sentiment is a  tonic die.....
Hope you are having a happy crafty day and the sun is shinning for you....today would have been my lovely old Mums 96th birthday and I miss her so.....

our last birthday celebration with her...she so loved to go out and have fun and being ill never stopped her....an inspirational lady....much loved and missed

Crafters companion card creator...Extravagance

This time I scored my A4 card first....and this made the positioning easier.....

Iinked through the die with spiced marmalade distressed ink.....stamped the flowers....heartfelt creations daisy patch...onto 3 different shades of co-ordinations card and cut them out using my scan and cut.....layed them up...some black glitter for the centres....
The inside is a coordinating sheet of embossed co-ordinations card sanded back a bit.....

and affixed a stamped sentiment through the apature to make sure.....
now I told you I had bought all 6 of the dies so thats 2 down....4 to go!....sorry but now that I am getting to grips I need to keep practising.....
