I had been after this spellbinders die set for ages and tried to order it from America...it got to the airport and then returned and my money refunded...bitterly disappointed and some 3 months later I found it here in a sale ... its such fun with the swinging gnome...
damp and drizzly today so doing some washing as Richard is off down to Birmingham to his record fair for the day...maybe a little crafting this afternoon

made using Alex Syberia Magical Fuchsia hot foil plates in silver and stencils using Distress oxides ..spellbinders A little message sentiment foil plate and dies... I am having so much more fun foiling now I have bought the platinum 6 machine ..no more over foiling just pristine every time...

I bought myself some new matting and layering aperture dies from John Next Door which were supposed to fit A6...but sadly my cards must be a bit smaller so a bit of trimming had to be done

The weather has broken here and we have rain this week which is good for the garden and filling up my water butts....

this set of Katy Sue decoupage images reminded me so much of my dear Dad...he spent most of his life in his greenhouse it made him so happy to be growing grapes and tomatoes....such fond memories
