week 51 warm and cosy

 I had just bought this perfect set of dies from spellbinders....

are they not just the cutest dies....I stencilled the HO HO HO onto some card and cut out the pyjama  legs....oh I did have fun making these up...

 I just love these old Sharyn Sowell dies...haven't seen any of her designs in a few years...

I just did a bit of stencilling for the brick work..  splatters and die cuts and a lovely Sue Wilson sentiment and lots of glitter...

I hope you are like me and finished your Christmas cards now....all posted apart from the ones we do a yearly letter for ....and then we start again for next year.

a sparkling Robin

 I love a robin at any time of the year but at Christmas I think they are extra special

this is an image on vellum by Fays Studio on a matching background with lots of glitter....I bought myself a new glimmer machine as my crafters companion foiling machine just stopped heating up and I never did get very good results with it...this one is much more robust....the sentiment don't over foil...

 a very old set old Shenna Douglas dies....

its a miserable drizzly day here and we made the mistake of going into town to get some christmas bits from Bettys,it was just rammed with tourist not fun at all...

 I have had fun this year with the Tim Holtz dies....

I made the background using distress inks and a moon stencil a few cut out stars...the die is Tims colourise Santa Greetings the sentiment is from stampers anonymous bold tidings mini....

well its the 1st of December so its out with the advent calendar....

Felt Reindeer

 I treated myself to one of the Nichole Sphor new felt cutting dies and had a lovely time making it up yesterday…with a quick visit to my local fabric shop to buy thread as I had given away all my embroidery threads some years ago….

I made it up in card first to see how it went together and then cut out the felt…(years old in a box in the loft )….and it was just great fun…this could become a bit addictive I think…

I am using some papers from a few years ago from Fays designs...with lots of glitter..

week 43...use an embossing folder

 I just love using embossing folders and this spellbinder 3D one is a dream

I have dragged a black ink pad over the debossed side and mounted on gold and black card and added a gold wax seal the sentiment is in gold although taking a photo of it is so difficult...but you get the idea....

Read that Book...

 I fell in love with this set of stamps from Elizabeth craft designs and my lovely niece lent them to me ....

so I stamped up the background with lots of the individual stamps and then embossed it with a scrip embossing folder.. the stack of books are from Carnation Crafts and then I water coloured the girl reading the book...

Its a glorious sunny morning here and a busy day, car in for service, a visit from my big brother and then Covid and Flu jabs this afternoon...so no crafting for me today
