Festive Christmas house…

 I am just loving these shaped cards from the Polkadoodles Christmas at the Cottage collection

They are so easy to..print out and the cut on my scan and cut…a bit of a learning curve as they are PNG files and I have had to go back to a very old program Craft Artist to be able to change the size…as I wanted to make matching gift tags …finally worked it out ..turn off internet and reinstall the program and run off line and it works okay….

I then had to print a matching A 4 background to use on the inside…I decided to glue together before cutting the shaped card out and it made the card stand up better as well as making the inside nice and neat so now I have cracked it many more will follow…

Week 44 …Christmas lights

 

Made using a carnation crafts die from last year that I found during a rummage in my craft room after one of my shelves fell off the wall…too much weight my dearest said and spent the day putting up the shelf with extra brackets for support,bless him his knees are suffering tonight!

This is a rub on from spellbinders I have had for some time and I thought it would frame well in an arched card…It was just a case of finding the right set of dies …you know the feeling …I have them somewhere half a day later and bingo there they were…

I just asked it to put a christmassy background behind my photo....

and then I asked it to make it snowy

isn't that just amazing at least now I can follow where it puts snow and make my cards look like this...or maybe not still its fun playing...

I can see this is going to become a bit addictive

Happy 33 anniversary to us

 

It was our anniversary this week so we celebrated by going off for the day and visiting ‘Benningborough Hall a stately home near us, it was a glorious sunny morning and we had a lovely walk round the gardens,coffee and cakes in the cafe and then a trip round the house itself …a lovely day

This is the card I made for Richard using Penny Black images…we have lots of hedgehogs that visit our garden so I thought would be cute
