this weeks card for Aunty...

I am determined to use up some of my card and delve into those kits I bought years ago.....

when I first started crafting I bought this kit fron QVC after seeing Dawn Bibby demoing...but by the time they arrived I didnt know what to do with then....there wasnt pinterest then ,and no where to go for inspiration....they have sat in boxes on my shelves for at least ....5 years maybe more, I think that now I am a bit more experienced I can see what they will make...however simple or complex so I am dusting down the kits and having a play

and as I have a few autumn birthdays I used the same design to make a birthday card...

I still have all the blue tones to use up but these really have been my favorites and I have a craft admission....I have just received the St Nicholas collection....now that I am getting used to using it instead of just stroking each page!

our Wedding Anniversary

it was our 23rd wedding anniversary on Sunday and so I can now put up the card I Made for my darling Richard.....

a blog tonic inspired card....the hearts and sentiments are tonic dies and the flowers are tattered lace...

cant be too sloppy he isn't that kind of guy......

christmas card challenge 19....woolie hats and gloves

this weeks challenge was set by Kate.....and I looked through all my stamps and dies...no combination of hats and gloves.....so I have taken an image and coloured gloves in!

its snowy from the heartfelt creations snow kissed collection....been having fun with the glitter haven't I.......

I am out today at Wentworth Woodhouse with the Historic Houses Association on a members visit.....its our wedding anniversary today,23 wonderful years and my darling hubby has booked this fab day out for us.....

a new challenge at Winter Wonderland....lots of layers/Wish upon a star

I decided to go for the lots of layers

I have done 2 layers of backing papers...from the tattered lace christmas character Santa cd....two layers cut out on the snowflake...heartfelt creations die....4 layers of decoupage on Santa...and 4 layers on the Merry Christmas  a tonic die...lots of glitter and glossy accents.....

playing with some of my favorite old dies

I really had forgotten I had this die even though I used it a lot a couple of years ago ...I saw a card on pinterest and thought I love that...get that die out and have a go again.....

the sentiment is the memory box Happy Christmas...memory box frosty boarder and Joy craft deer....
I like the clean simple look so I also did it in red...

another  2 cards for the stash...and enjoying making something with old dies....

Christmas card club challenge 18....a winter scene

this week it is Rachels turn to choose our challenge theme...

I had just bought the heartfelt creations snow kissed collection and saw a card of the blog that I loved and decided to do a similar version of....the poinsettia are from the sparkling poinsettia set but all the other elements are from the new collection....with the addition of snowy acetate ...and lots of glitter...
