christmas card club challenge 24....forest scene

this weeks theme is chosen by Kate and my card is a bit of a loose interpretation...well the car is driving through the forest and snow....

Red and White candy cane.....

just fancied making an A6 card in red and white....

the background die is called candy cane from Altenew...I have paper pieced in the white layer....the poinsettia is from John Next Door and the white foliage id Tim Holtz wintergreens.....the sentiment is a Sue Wilson die....
It has been another busy week,having the chimney swept,buying a new PC monitor,visiting my brother and his wife and going round a lovely garden centre at Wentworth Woodhouse after lunch looking at the christmas decorations....shame it is so bitterly cold but at least we can use the fire again.

oldies but goodies.....

I was rummaging through some old cd's and found this one from the card hut....Fabulous Christmas by the house of Zandra.....so out it came and a decoupage card made......

my trusty scan and cut did all the hard work of cutting out the layers for me....lots of glitter and 3d snow.....
this company seems to have sold the right to their art work to Dolly Dimples who are charging stupid money for the stamps ect.....caught a glimpse of a program on Hochanda and went HOW MUCH!....

a quick anniversary card.....

just when you think you have one in your stash and no the last one has gone....

I used a tattered lace die and charisma .....Sundance...nice and bright and cheerful...a Sue Wilson sentiment and job done...

you will recognise the images Zoe....I really do use the stuff I buy......this was one of my favorite  stamping Up collections  from last year.....the merry christmas is a really old Memory Box die and the snowy background is a Sue Wilson embossing folder..................................................................

a fun new die to play with....

I treated myself to Tim Holtz snowman..another of these colourise type of dies but once I had made the first one as a test  I found the second much easier.....

I mixed him up with the crafters companion edger Merry die and a Sue Wilson sentiment....the trees are also Tim Holtz....yes I will use him again it was really good fun....

having fun in my craft room.....

this is me cheering myself up....I saw a picture of these little box cards on Pinterest and thought I want to have a go at making them...several youtubes later and several tries I finally managed to make them.....

once I had got the hang of it I really enjoyed making them...the boxes take 2 Lint chocs and I thought they would be great as a change from crackers....

well just when I thought things were getting better....my tooth broke off...still if that's all I have to worry about......I have managed a bit of crafting and found it very relaxing....

a star easel card made using the tattered lace Starry night die and charisma...the poinsettia are heartfelt creations.....
