Zoe's challenge Sugar and spice

when I think of sugar and spice I  remember making Christmas puddings with Mum and being able to lick the spoon ......did you put silver threepenny bits in yours ?


I used backing paper and images from Dawn Bibby's Happy Christmas set ...LOTV receipe stamps   glitter and bling from my stash.....

Wow your card is gorgeous Margaret. Look at those beautiful Christmas puds!!!. I too used to make the pudding with my Mum, such fond memories. Oh we didn't put threepenny bits in though lol!!!. I know my Mum did though when she was a younger girl with her own Mum. I love those recipe stamps too. Hope you are ok my friend. Always here for you hun. Hugs Clare xxxx

Lovley !!! Yeah I remeber making them with Gran too !! We still put those pennies in when I was a child too !!! Wonder if they were the same ones ............ lol !!! Maybe we ought to make some puds together one day with Caitlyn !! xxx

What a great idea Margaret, those recipe stamps! I think that is fabulous! Gorgeous pudding & mince pies...the taste of Christmas! Ahhh
My mum didn't like cooking the pudding, so we used to buy one & poke in the threepence bits..we keep them for years after we turned to dollars & cents ( you can use our new money..yuk!)

A beautiful card Margaret. I too used to make Christmas puds with my Mum though we didn't put sixpences in them. As one of four sisters it used to be a fight to lick the bowl out though! Carol x
