still using old stash.....

really being inspired this week to root around in my crafty stash.....

these are papers and die cuts from Dawn Bibby's 2011 Happy Christmas release so yes I am using up some old stuff....a few gems and glossy accents to make it pop a bit.....all decoupaged up and glittered....

June Rudolph day challenge

its time for the June Rudolph day challenge over at scrappymo's......anything goes.....

I am loving these create a card swing cards from crafters companion......the image is an LOTV one the corner dies are Sue Wilson and the snowflakes all odd ones tattered lace and all sorts of brands.....
a few cosmic shimmer PVA glitter drops and matts and layers done on my scan and cut and job done....

Christmas card club challenge 13....White Christmas

I Am using up existing stash as much as I can this year...with the odd trip to the naughty step when my resolve weakens...I make one big traditional card every year ,it used to be for my Mum but now it goes to Aunty....

this is a Thomas Kinkade image from a cd I bought many years ago from Joanna Sheen and I thought it typified my imagining of a perfect white christmas....the poinsettia are heartfelt creations and the sentiment is a Sue Wilson one....nothing new....can I come off the naughty step now?....

having a bit of fun.....

I am determined to use up some of my stash this year so I have got the Dawn Bibby Happy Christmas stuff out from 2011.....and set myself the target of making some cards so this is my first.....

I had 3 of the images remaining so Iscannedoninto my scan and cut and made 3 tent fold cards in kraft card....then did all the decoupage,glittered and glossy accents and nuvo drops for the berries...the sentiment is a crafters companion one....thought they were a bit of fun....

I am on the naughty step.....

I just could not resist......two new die sets from crafters companion...but at least I have them out of the packet and using them.....

surprisingly easy to make up and using some left over classic roses from my heartfelt creations stamps and dies.....

continuing with my effort to use up stash I am working my way through some of my christmas decoupage from years ago....so a bit of house mouse bought at least 10 years ago

a learning curve...a new card shape for me.....

this just wasn't as simple as I expected it to be....using my tattered lace USB shaped cards 2 I thought it should be easy.....well not for me my first two fell to pieces along the score lines...3rd time lucky.....

ah well lessons learned...decorate first assemble last and score don't perforate.....the papers are Sara Davis floral delight......and a few random die cuts....

christmas card club challenge 12....anything goes

thank you Sylvie for a challenge that made me use a die that had lain unloved since being bought....

I am afraid that I bought it so long ago...took it out of its package that I forget if it is tattered lace or crafters companion...I cut the die twice once in gold miri and then red card and paper pieced the two.... matted and layered the embossing folder is Sue Wilsons contemporary poinsettia....and the poinsettias are heartfelt creations .....

morning .......

thanks for popping by my blog today ,we are just back from our trip up to Scotland for Aunty's birthday...she had a lovely day and could hardly believe she was 89......

she is recovering well after her fall but sadly the dislocated shoulder cannot be fixed...but she is happy and smiling....and loved her card and cake.....
we drove home yesterday through what seemed like a car wash....never seen so much rain,and now down to the washing.....

A couple of wedding anniversary cards

I really needed a few for my stash so I made a few on a theme ...just varying the die cuts and papers a bit.....

and this one....

the image and sentiment are LOTV...the papers Nitwits....I Used Marianne dies to cut the flowers and leaves the sets are so old I have no idea what numbers they are...the circle die is an old spellbinder die....stately circles.....a bit of lace from my stash which I didnt remember having...even though all my boxes are labelled up...I still forget what I have...I am so bad.......
