Lorraine has asked that our card features candy canes/gingerbread men...

a card for my uncle ....

my uncle has been in a home since before christmas and I have now started to send him a card each week to cheer him up a bit...he misses his garden so much and he loves flowers so I made this ....

its one of the Anna Griffin blooming decoupage and makes a nice card for posting ...

I love making these pop up box cards...I have used some of my favorite marianne design dies...father christmas and Rudolph...the santa stop here id a tonic die and I have used various makes of christmas tree dies.....and had lots of fun creating....

I bought a Lavinia stamps after watching a very talented lady on Hochanda and decided to have a go....

doing some of those inky techniques...I really enjoyed just playing and actually did make a card up....I hope you are having a lovely day today and perhaps doing a bit of crafting...

an anniversary card...

its my brother and sister in laws wedding anniversary this week...sadly she has dementia and is in a home and most probably will not even recognise my brother in law....I still make a card in the hope that it may spark something .....

this is a crafters companion create a card die...and a tattered lace sentiment banner...
My sister in law was an avid crafter who made beautiful cards using dried flowers...much treasured now....

a birthday card...

still trying to build up a reserve of cards.....

this is a tonic die...A New Day...with lots of Sue wilson dies...the flowers are striped nasturtiums..leaves Delicate fronds and the sentiment is also Sue Wilson...
Its a cool day here today so I am back in my craft room..after a disaster of visit to the craft fair where someone stole my phone out of my handbag while I was paying at a till....the organisers at Stamp magic were marvelous ..they phoned my carrier and had the phone cancelled and located,put out a tanoy to tell the thief the police were on the way and that no matter where the phone was it could be located and to hand it in as it was no use to them...and lo and behold an hour later it was handed in having been dumped in a toilet cubical....ruined my day I have to say...but good for the bank balance as I was too upset to buy anything ....
