Lantern boxes.....Tonic

these lovely boxes are very versatile....I made the first on to put a faux candle in....so I cut the design out of the sides.....the second one has solid sides with the design cut and matted onto the outside and it makes a really sturdy box......

I have used centura pearl card.....

Christmas create a card day 4....oh christmas tree.....

oh its so warm today.....never mind must get on with my christmas cards.....and as you can see I am loving these dies......

I have inked through the die with distressed ink...evergreen bough and then cut out 4 more of the trees and scored them in half and glued them to make a 3 D tree sprayed it with stick and spray and cover it with diamond snow....I cut lots of tiny green mirri circles using a hole punch and attatched them as baubles....I have matted onto centura pearl card covered in adhesive and then creative expressions iced snow to give a really blinggy layer under the die.....then onto green mirri and finally a centura pearl card base.....a spellbinder die for the star and a tonic die  for the sentiment...I was going to use this card for my christmas card club challenge this sunday...but I had already done a card....so this is a bonus for my stash!

Ring out those bells.....

this is a lovely simple design so I kept the card the same....cut out of Ivory centura pearl card and the inkes with walnut stain distress ink....used pinflair to give dimension to the matt onto dark brown and then a thin soft gold ....the sentiment is from the Diesire sentimental set mistletoe kisses embossed in gold.....a few extra holly leaves to give a bit of dimension....and cosmic shimmer PVA glue...choco brown for the dotty bits....

Christmas create a card Day 2

well Ihad lots of bits left from day 1 as I had been trying different coloured poinsettia'a and bows...and I even had a go at embossing through the die but that didnt work at all for me.....so this is another card with the same die Christmas present.....

on this one I mounted the die cut onto white card leaving out the middle section........ I stamped with Justrite Grand Christmas sentiments into the appature....then covered in double sided adhesive and sprinkled cosmic shimmer iced snow over to give all over sparkle...the poinsettia are of course spellbinders but again covered in iced snow...a few red gems ....another card done....
