christmas card club challenge 20..Christine's choice Winter Wonderland

still determined to use stamps I have bought and never used!......

this is the Sheena Douglas A little bit festive....Farmhouse christmas is just seemed to me to be the perfect image for a Winter wonderland....
Stamped with chipped saphire distress ink and using a water brush pulled out some of the colour....a little dab of sqeezed lemon in the windows....snow added by stamping and embossing with white embossing powder....the die cuts are impressionobsession fir tree branch...and tattered lace poinsettia...and tiny fir tree branch from the christmas florals set.....

I really enjoyed this challenge thank you Christine....made me do some stamping....
willbe popping round all your blogs later girls .....

Margaret this is absolutely fabulous! I love it! It could be the farm next door to me. All that snow looks terrific! Lovely die cuts. Hugs Christine xx

Ooh lovely Margaret - and I can see myself doing one of my snow angels in the middle of all that snow!! I used a stamp that I had for ages and had never used - so thank goodness for these challenges. Love the dies you have chosen to embellish your creation.

Hugs to you Sue Pxxx

WOW! This is a real stunner Margaret and I love every little detail on it. I am on a ban to not purchase any more Christmas stamps as I already have a box and a drawer full but this image and that Distress ink pad are going on my wish list, as are the dies. The snow is fantastic, in fact it's a really beautiful card full stop Karen x

A beautiful winter wonderland for certain. Looks very peaceful, loved the lighted windows. Your falling snow is beautiful, and is so realistic. Loved the way you've framed the corners with the pretty pine branches, and of course, loved the embossed dots framing. Looked very Currier & Ives. (or should I say Dickens?) TFS & Hugs
