Winter Wonderland challenge...show us your gold/silver or an embossed background

well I think my card covers the gold and the embossed background

the stepper card is made using the tattered lace centre stepper die with the Kraft layer embossed using the crafter's companion bows folder...the parcels are the crafter's companion create a card christmas gift set....all of the edges have been gilded using the empire gold pebeo gilding wax..the poinsettia are spellbinders dies as is the garland....the gold sentiment is also a crafter's companion die....

Rudolph day challenge in July

its time for scrappymo's Rudolph day challenge......I missed the last two as it was tennis season

the card base I cut on my scan and cut and the papers are from the craftwork cards Christmas Cheer collection, I decided to triple emboss all the patterned papers to give a vintage feel and then embossed the edges with gold embossing powder....
There are two prizes this month so go on you have to be in it to win it......

I have been busy watching tennis for weeks so its lovely to get back to some crafting......Christine's choice this week......

and one in green

I have used the tattered lace Noel die....which I scanned into my scan and cut and added a 3mm seam allowance round to make the frame...cut twice and then flipped and cut twice again to make a really sturdy frame to mount the white die cut onto.....acetate added to the O, the cheeky robin Charisma die cut is Fluffy Robin from tattered lace...the branch is an old spellbinder die cut out of Kraft and the dovecraft dries white glue and cosmic shimmer iced snow...glossy accents on the berries and a bow made with ribbon from my stash.....

Baby cards....

I think I may have mentioned that my husband is going to become an uncle shortly...well anytime really so I have been making lots of baby cards...all colours and styles...these ones are a bit more modern and based on a card I saw demo'd on the craft channel

they were fun to make using the Mariannedesigns collectables dies and stamps which I have had a while...we don't know the sex of the baby so covering both options

not really the weather for crafting but it is cooler inside than out!....

I Have been paying with my craftstyle christmas decoupage kit again....with the addition of some embellishments from my stash and a lovely Sheena Douglas stamp and die...christmas lights...glossy accents and glitter.....
Getting there now half of my christmas cards done!.....
I would like to enter this card into the christmas card all year round challenge

for the first time ever I have actually made a card that fits into a current theme.....so here it is

I have used the 2016 tattered lace snowglobe and the tattered lace carollers melded die.....lots of glitter and cosmic shimmer iced snow..the backgrounds are all tattered lace dies that came with the globe...
so I am entering this into the winter Wonderland challenge  pop over and see the DT's lovely inspiration

this weeks card for Aunty

I thought something flowery this week

I used an Anna Griffin die Flower Vine which I stencilled though with distressed inks...and off set on the same die cut in brown....the lattice is a tattered lace die and the sentiment Tonic...the backing paper is from Phil Martins butterfly pad...and tonic nuvo drops English mustard.
Now to write my weekly cheer up letter.......

its my neighbours little girls birthday today so i thought a little fun card would be just the job....

made from the Hunkydory box pops kit I bought on impulse...still they do make fun cards and fold flat to go in an envelope.....
back to a bit of crafting now the tennis has finished......

Chrismas club challenge 14....Snowmen

a very quick card from me as I  dont do much crafting in July as I am watching the tennis...my fall back is decoupage....

the decoupage is from craftstyle...lots of glitter and glossy accents a fun card I think....please pop and see the other girls in the club they make wonderful cards...their links are on my side bar....

just a little note.....

each week I Send a little card to my Aunty up in Scotland...since she moved into the care home her world has shrunk and a bit of news seems to cheer her up....

I love this stamp and die from  heartfelt creations it makes a great little note card....

back to normal from this weekend....sadly a funeral this week my friends Mum reached the amazing age of 103 but sadly passed peacefully on Thursday
