this weeks card for Aunty.....

I dont show every card I make for Aunty but I so enjoyed making this one....

this is an Apple Blossom embossing folder and I Treated myself to the wavy sentiments and the die that matches most of the embossing folders....the rose is another left over from a batch of heartfelt creation classic rose stamps and dies that I made up for a card some time ago...and like most crafters I hate to waste....Aunty is doing well at the moment and we are heading up to see her again in October...before the weather gets too bad in Scotland.

its very wet here....

we have just had the most amazing thunder storm...lightning..and the news has just said 3 weeks rain in one hour...and yes we were out in it going over to my nieces house to water her garden....the roads were flooded and closed off in some parts of York....but we got home eventually.
I have been playing with my tattered lace wonderful in white collection...

loving this bauble die....just a bit of matting and layering...Sue Wilson embossing folder and some ribbon....

Christmas card club challenge 17...the true meaning of Christmas

this weeks challenge has been set by Christine...and as I am in a CAS mode I have made a fairly simple card......

the stamp is from the heartfelt creations sparkling poinsettia collection....and the embossing folder is a Sue Wilson one....

a birthday card.....

its wet and miserable here today so I am in my craft room whilst my BH has gone off to the antiques fair at Newark for the day......
Its a friends birthday soon and I do find making male cards difficult......

so I have kept it simple....the happy birthday die is a very old memory box die....and the parcels are from Tonic.....just a bit of matting and layering a few gems and job done....

A Sunday Christmas card.....Peace

the first time I have used my Tim Holtz peace die so I thought I would enter it into one of the christmas card challenges out there and this months Jingle Belles theme is just that ...peace

I have used a very old Martha Stuart circle punch and shadowed it....the paper and the image are both from LOTV....and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz....
so I am entering this card into the Peace on earth challenge at jinglebellesrock ....

a CAS christmas card....

a very old memory box die that I love...and one of the new spellbinder dies by Sharyn Sowell.....
this is about as CAS as I ever get...I have to walk away from the card or ribbon and bling miraculously adhere themselves to mycards...Its the fairies......

the spellbinder die is called presents ....I thought it was fun....and was made for a challenge on another social media site.....

I have used the tattered lace Carollers flectare dies ...but cut off the bendy bit....the sentiment is from Tim Holtz...and the poinsettia is a tattered lace one....lots of glitter and some sparkle nuvo drops...

a couple of cards for my stash......

some time ago...yes really....I bought the Altenew...layering flower dies so I have been having a go with them....

next I am going to try using the top die cut as a stencil and see what I get with some spray inks.....what I hear you say...Margaret getting inky...well I am going to try,with rubber gloves on!

discovering old dies

whilst having a tidy up in my room and looking for dies I thought I had I came across this set of Tonic dies from a few years ago...so I have used them along with the tonic gingerbread man to make this card.....

sad to say I have thrown the packaging away and put the dies on magnetic sheets so I cant tell you the name....they came out in 2015.....and this was a fun card to make ...for a challenge on another social media site.....
