Happy New Year

well christmas has flown by and here we are on new years eve and I hope you all have a very peaceful and healthy 2018.....

I have finally got back into my craft room after a good 2 week break and its just as messy!....I did bag a couple of bargains in the sales to play with this coming year and can feel my crafty mojo coming back.....

I have used some heartfelt creations stuff that I had completely forgotten I had bought..the winters eve and Festive Holly collections...lots of glitter...coloured with copics....oh and a poinsettia made using the new flower moulds which I am finding very useful as my arthritis makes flower shaping painful these day....especially after making 3 dozen mince pies yesterday...we ran out, and that last scrap of pastry....a treacle tart.
thank you for popping by my blog today and I hope you enjoy your new years eve whatever you do....

This is a beautiful card with the window. I love the pastel scene and the pretty holly leaves, the poinsettia andthe glitter which looks like sparkly snow. We had a white Christmas and it is cold...-22 today! You made a ton of pies and that is difficult so I hope your hands will feel better with something rest. I was baking, decorating, wrapping, shopping and visiting my mom who is doing well which makes me happy. She kept thinking it was July and a couple of times, she looked t me and didn’t recognize me until I got closer to her. I now have had severe numbness and pain in my right hand...like bad frostbite. I bought a brace which seems to be working but I am seeing the dr. I have not done any card making for over 2 weeks and that will change! I plan on creating much more this year and will try to use the computer at home to put it on my blog which has been a problem. Anyhoo, Happy New Year and all the best!

Margaret, another stunner, as always, with the layers, the festive window, and love your molded flowers. Loads of icy snow to glimmer against the filigree lattice that covers this beautiful card. Happy New Year, and looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous work in 2018. TFS & many hugs.
