this weeks christmas card...

still using stash....

last years July purchases actually used for the first time...Sheena's christmas rose set of stamps and dies....wish I had never bought them ...I just don't understand dies that don't actually fit stamps no matter which way you use them....I have tried die cutting then stamping...and the other way all I end up with is inky fingers and a mess....determined to use them.....
hope you are having a lovely day crafting and thank you for popping by today....

Well you have made a lovely card regardless. However I know what you mean. I have Sheena's poppy stamps and dies and they are the same! Such a pain when you spend quite a lot of money on something which doesn't actually do what it's supposed to do! Christine xxx

A beautiful card Margaret, your flowers look fabulous - I also have problems with stamps with matching dies - I usually die cut them from thin printer paper and then stamp them on the card stock that I want to colour, place the printer paper with the cut out shape over the stamped image and line it up and then place the die in the cut out and run it through my die cutting machine (I hope that makes sense!).

Margaret, what a pretty card. I can certainly understand the frustration of things not lining up but your end result was stunning. Thank you for sharing today.

Absolutely gorgeous ,love the beautiful flowers and great B.paper--I know just what you mean I have some of Sheenas flowers and dieand they just do not match up-I always end up trimming round which makes the dies a complete waste of time and money

Well despite the headache of stamping and die cutting these Christmas Roses you have achieved a fabulous card Margaret. I love the design and layering of the foliage.

This is just beautiful! I love the centre which made me think of a window and the flowers are so dainty. I have a punch that I think I broke:)
