this week it is Rita's turn to choose the theme.....

a bit of a fun card made using stamping up Santa's workshop collection...its so colourful....all the elements are cut out of the papers using the die set....

still using old stash...

yep I am really finding some stuff in my room...my poor husband is getting fed up of me exclaiming...I had forgotten I had bought that...these are from Debbie Moores Party Penguins cd...

just printed from the cd....decoupaged up and added lots of glitter...they make me smile these penguins.....but I had forgotten the cd was in my collection....good find again....

its a Christmas card week.....

I am ashamed to say that yes I was one of those people who fell for the selly Telly hype when the disney range first came out a couple of years ago and this is the first set I bought...and never used because of all the hype about the restrictions on use...well I have decided that as I can make them to give to my family members I am going to use them....

so a couple of cards made with the Disney Mickey Mouse set....the banner is a tonic die...
I enjoyed using these at last and know my great nieces will love them this christmas....

I am finding so many stamps and dies....

these are all Lisa Hortons christmas dies from last year...the sentiment is Sue Wilson...a nice modern look to it...

using stash again....

I have had these Altenew stamps for several years 2016....and only used them once...

I have been reluctant to use them as I was no good at lining them up...but now I have a stamping platform I am getting much more confident ....and a fan brush for the splatters what a difference that makes....
the stamps are Majestic blooms...Dahlia blossoms...and versatile vases...

this week it is Lorraine's choice of theme.....love this one as again I am able to use stuff from my stash....

the house is Cheery Lynn Design...it comes with the candy canes and the lolly pops ..getting ginger bread men that looked the right size took a bit of searching through my stash....and are from Tim Holtz mini Christmas things which to be honest I had forgotten I had bought in the sale....

Happy Birthday to my great niece

How the time flies it seems like only yesterday she was born, a tiny scrap that sat in the palms of both hands ....she is a pure joy to behold as a lovely young woman at 18

made using Sue Wilson octagon dies....and flowers and the numbers are from tonic....a labour of love....

and here she is with her birthday cake..she had a lovely day buying her first drink in the pub and going out with us for a meal in the evening....oh to be 18...again.

oh what you find when you start going through stash......

Tom Holtz crazy dogs...now how old are they and just shoved in a draw and forgotten....the tree and baubles are Marianne designs and the sentiment Dylusions from a few years back...
this reminds me of my lovely dog Kim from childhood...he was so naughty and would play with the tree ornaments...bless ,such happy memories.

playing with old stash.....

determined to keep reducing my stash...I had a lovely clear out at the weekend and took all my Martha Stewart punches along to the charity shop where I hope they will get a new home and used....

I have had this Peerless designs CD for years...well all of them really and Sarah Hallam was on Hochanda a couple of weeks ago and I thought I have never used them so feeling guilty I found them....this is from Tangletastic 3.....printed a couple of times and fussy cut the owl and decoupaged it up...the feathers are Spellbinders...feathers in the wind....and all from my stash....

I have been naughty again and bought myself Tim Holtz wild flowers dies.........

I have teamed them up with stamping up  Jar of Love stamp and dies...Kraft card run through an embossing folder and edged with a bit of dry brushed gesso....that was fun and seems to have got my mojo back a bit...
