Christmas card club challenge 14...Granmargarets choice...christmas trees

well I have started my batch card making for the charity that I support...meet the elderly...its a group of people who invite lonely elderly people out to tea one Sunday a month...my Mum used to love it...not just for the wonderful home made tea but for the opportunity to chat to people her own age with the same kind of generational memories...so now I make them about 50 cards for Christmas to give to their elderly folk...sometimes its the only card they get so a real good cause.....
I thought that  this weeks theme of Christmas trees would be perfect....

so I made the first 4 cards using Craftwork cards Festive chalkboard collection and used inspiration from the design team....

lots and lots of glitter.....
Do have a look at the other girls lovely card...their names are on my side bar....we will be ready for christmas!

Margaret these are absolutely stunning. The chalkboard effect is not one I have ever thought to try for Christmas cards but you have, once again, done it with a lot of style! Fabulous cards and what an charity to support Karen x

What a lovely & dramatic look to these marvelous cards. What a fabulous reason to make these pretty cards. I so admire you volunteering for this group...and I'm sure that your generous kindness makes a big difference in one of these elderly folks lives. How sad that our world today does not revere longevity as it should, and make these seniors feel they are still treasured by someone. And what a grand idea to get them with others they can relate to, in terms of memories and things in common. I salute you & this group for what joy you are bringing. And absolutely love this card design! TFS & Hugs

How lovely! It looks like the tree was done on chalkboard which I really like. What you are doing is so lovely. My mom is in long-term care and I feel bad for the people I see who never seem to get any family or friends visiting. I always try to say hello to them. What you are doing for them is very special
