doing a craft room sort out....

I have decided to go through all my dies and get rid of those that I think I will never use again....on their way to the charity shop...these were some of the first Tonic dies I bought ...Butterfly Dreams....
I thought I would make up a couple of cards for the charity shop to show what they looked like ..

I don't know about you but I find it very difficult to actually get rid of stuff so I am doing it a bit at a time and then I feel a bit better.....such a hoarder.....

Thank you for popping by my blog today.

I know exactly what you mean Margaret. We have so much stuff and we know it's never going to get used! Good for you for being brave and making a start. Cards are great too. Christine xx

Oh Margaret, you are such a brave person. I have not the integrity to get rid of my dies yet. It is so sweet of you to make the cards to send to the charity shop. We don't have anything here like that but it sure would be nice if we did. I might get more motivated. Thank you for sharing.

Fabulous cards Margaret, a great idea to make cards to show how the dies look.
I find it virtually impossible to get rid of any craft stash, I just move it to another room to make space in my craft room.

Hello Margaret, what a good idea to make cards to show off the dies and beautiful cards they are too.
Well done in making a clear out, I need to do the same, I don't use dies all that much and I've bought so many in past years and they lie in a box, some stamps too, but for me it's not wanting to get rid of stash, it's that It's too overwhelming to get started, I bet it feels a great achievement though, Kate x

I know how you feel I have dies I won't use again and must sort them out I gave quite a few to grandaughters after school craft club and loads of papers -gave a few stamp sets away on my blog last year and have quite a few stamps ready for the off BUT it doesn't seem to have made much of a dent???I love the idea of making the cards to show what the dies look like and love the B.papers

Would it be mean of me if I said I wish i was the charity shop:) Actually this is really sweet of you especially to show your lovely cards next to the die cut. Both cards are so pretty and elegant
