a simple birthday card......

my idea was to make a simple ...more masculine looking card.....

I have used Heartfelt creations Backyard Blossoms collection...which to be honest has sat unopened on a shelf since I purchased it...not now....
I hope you are having a crafty day today and enjoying being creative....I am and its funny but the world goes away for a time ..I can forget all the woes of the world which I feel I can do so little about...and my worries for a while....I feel much better able to cope after a bit of crafting....

week 9 making cards from my stash

but before I show you my card I have to confess to falling onto the naughty step and buying some lovely Lavinia stamps...I don't feel at all guilty as I have been feeling poorly all week after having my Shingles vaccination....and a small purchase cheered me up.....that's my excuse.....

made using hunkydory toppers from the little book of festive birdsong.and decoupaged up the robin .......the die is a hunkydory moonstone die....and the embellishment is made from the tattered lace pine cones 3D decoupage just cut out of white.lots of glittery splatters.....
some more of my stash used up....
I hope you are enjoying this lovely weather....I am even tempted to get out in the garden.....

week 8 make one christmas card each week....postbox.....

and use old stash.....

I have used very old Marianne designs  dies....the tag and robins are from 2015....the letter box is even older....the poinsettia are Heartfelt creations .
I love making these tag cards...I use my scan and cut to create a base card by drawing  round the die and then cut it out on my machine...brilliant...
I am still being good and haven't bought anything from selly telly since last November.....saving myself a fortune...and the satisfaction of using old stash.....
thanks for popping by my blog today....I hope you are enjoying doing some crafting

A cheer up card..

My dear old uncle Mark is still plodding along now that he has new nurse who seems to cheer him up and get him to eat....so a card to cheer him up ...made with the help of my new cricut machine which is taking some getting to know.....

I used the Anna Griffin Garden cards and embellishments cartridge which I have had for some years and found a bit daunting...but this new machine certainly makes life much more straight forward,,it sorts all the layers into different matts and makes it all much more logical....the sentiment is from Tonic...
thank you for popping by today I hope you are having a happy day crafting .
